What...A...Show!!!
My first Jersey Boys experience after being a fan for several, several years was this morning. I'm sitting here after one of the longest, most rockin' concerts I've ever seen, also partially deaf from sitting next to the speakers all night but it's well worth it. When I heard they would be joined on stage by the two other bands, I must admit I was nervous. I thought at first it may be hectic with people running around after every song, mixing up the Crows, Michael Franti and Augustana songs but it actually went very smoothly. I liked how the two lead singers of the other bands would sing along with Adam Duritz and their band members would play along right with them. I would highly recommend it to anyone because you're getting the best of three different bands, but also the magic of seeing all three play harmoniously together. It was a fantastic, LONG concert...definitely got my money's worth last night. I liked how they allowed each band to have their own time by themselves, but I also enjoyed the molded-together feeling of the three bands.
